Metaphysics is an OEM manufacturer of the microchip-based sensor cable system AMS (Asset Monitoring System). Based on the patented LISAŽ technology, the AMS significantly reduces the costs associated with the operation installation and maintenance of a large sensor data collection systems. Our approach is based on the collaboration with partner companies, specialized in application domains where the analysis of a huge number of sensors in real-time is required.
We develop, manufacture and sell on a worldwide basis cost-effective and unique linear sensor systems based on an array of sensors, which are integrated into a sensor cable. The analysis of the sensors is carried out by a corresponding data acquisition unit and its software.
Our products are complete measurement systems comprising hundreds of sensors connected by several hundred up to several thousand meters of cable.
A proprietary Processor Unit (PU) provides the interface between the sensor cable and any overlying application or device. Standardized serial interfaces are utilized for communication and potential-free contacts for alarm generation.
Typical applications include fire detection, industrial process monitoring, environmental sensing, chemical process control, and the detection of abnormal operating states on ships, platforms and in railway infrastructure.
The focus of MetaPhysics is on supplying OEM partners worldwide with jointly developed applications based on sensor data collection systems.
MetaPhysics has an approved Quality Management System based on the ISO9001:2000 norm. Our products are approved by the VdS, certifying our products for applications in fire detection. The VdS also certifies our sensor cable assembly line at regular intervals.
