Overview
The Asset Monitoring System AMS is suited for applications relying on the analysis of a high number of sensors. Our patented communication technology is designed to efficiently supply power to and collect and analyze the readings of a high number of sensors. It turned out that the application with the highest potential is temperature monitoring over long distances or vast areas extending over several kilometers. In addition to its outstanding sensitivity to atmospheric temperature changes, the AMS sensor cable has a pronounced sensitivity to infrared radiation. The miniaturized electronic circuitry in the sensor cable is able to handle the input from other sensors measuring different physical properties such as for example the earth magnetic field, humidity or wind speed. This feature of the AMS can be used to tailor a sensor data collection system to precisely match the needs of an application. Very often, the combination of temperature sensors with other sensors offer a new and innovative approach to an application. In this section, we present examples of how the AMS can be adapted to diverse application domains.
